A useful photo slideshow is more than a sequence of images. Music sets the pace, while a voiceover can explain the message behind the visuals. Reportix keeps these audio sources separate so you can control them independently. A narration can remain clear at full volume while background music is reduced, or a music-led video can use a stronger soundtrack when there is no voiceover.
The built-in music library is packaged with the tool rather than fetched from an external music website during export. You can preview a track before generating the video. If you prefer your own soundtrack, upload an audio file from your device. When using third-party music, make sure you have the necessary rights for the way you plan to publish the finished video.
Many image-to-video tools apply constant zoom, floating movement or aggressive animation to every picture. That may work for photography, but it can make business graphics, screenshots and text-heavy images difficult to read. Reportix uses a different approach: once a new picture has completed its transition, the picture stays stable. The next movement happens only when the following slide begins.
Smart Slide analysis can examine the image locally in your browser and identify detail-heavy slides so the editor can use a safer transition. It does not upload the picture to a Reportix server for this analysis. You remain free to choose the transition manually at any time.

The bundled Reportix music pack also loads from the tool package itself. This design reduces the need to send your images to a separate Reportix processing server for the video-making workflow.
Browser performance still matters. Long videos, many high-resolution images or older devices can require more memory and processing time. For the most reliable generation experience, use a current desktop version of Chrome or Edge and keep the tab open until the export is complete.
The current generator exports WebM video using browser MediaRecorder technology. WebM is supported by many modern browsers and platforms, although some publishing workflows may prefer MP4. If you need MP4 for a specific destination, you can convert the downloaded WebM file with a compatible video converter until native MP4 export is added to the Reportix tool.
Because generation happens in the browser, support can vary between browsers and devices. If the Generate Video button reports that recording is unsupported, update your browser or try a current Chrome or Edge desktop browser.
