Free Online Reminder & To-Do List for Work, Follow-Ups and Deadlines

Reportix Online Reminder is a practical browser-based reminder and to-do list built for people who need to remember real work without opening a large project-management system. Use it for a quick reminder in 10, 20 or 30 minutes, a one-hour alert, a later reminder from the time menu, or an exact scheduled date and time. Each reminder can stay simple, or you can add notes, a category, priority, repeat schedule, reference number, assigned contact and pin status when the task needs more context.

The tool is especially useful for office work where small actions are easy to miss: calling a client back, checking a purchase order, sending a report, following up an invoice, joining a meeting, reviewing a submission, confirming an appointment or revisiting a project deadline. Your reminder list can be searched and filtered by Today, Tomorrow, Upcoming, Missed, Pinned and Completed so urgent work stays visible.

How to Set an Online Reminder

  1. Enter the reminder. Type a clear action such as “Call supplier,” “Send weekly report,” “Check invoice approval” or “Follow up PO.”
  2. Choose the reminder time. Use a quick time button for a near-term alert, select another time from the dropdown, or enable Schedule Reminder to choose an exact date and time.
  3. Add details only when useful. Open More Details & Repeat Options to add notes, category, priority, a daily/weekly/monthly repeat, reference, assigned contact or pin status.
  4. Choose your alert sound. Select a professional notification tone, preview it and set the volume appropriate for your workspace.
  5. Create and manage the reminder. When a reminder becomes due, use the popup and list controls to complete it, snooze it, move it to tomorrow, edit it or reschedule it.

Quick Reminders Without a Full Calendar Event

Not every task needs a calendar meeting. For short follow-ups, the quick reminder controls let you create a timed alert with fewer steps. This is useful when you need to call someone back, check a document, revisit an email, confirm a delivery or perform another action later in the same working session.

Schedule an Exact Date and Time

For deadlines, meetings and future tasks, use Schedule Reminder to choose the required date and time. Quick-time choices and exact scheduling are mutually exclusive, helping prevent two different times from being selected for the same reminder.

Professional Sounds and Flexible Snooze

Choose a professional reminder tone, preview it before use and adjust the alert volume. When work cannot be handled immediately, the snooze controls provide short and multi-hour postponement choices, plus tomorrow options and custom rescheduling from the reminder popup.

Recurring Work and Routine Follow-Ups

Optional repeat settings support daily, weekly and monthly reminders. They can help with routine reporting, recurring checks, periodic client follow-ups, weekly documentation, regular payment reviews and other repeating office responsibilities.

Useful Reminder Examples for Office and Business Work

A reminder tool becomes more useful when the reminder describes the next action rather than only naming a topic. Instead of “Invoice,” use “Check invoice approval with Finance.” Instead of “Meeting,” use “Join client progress meeting.” Instead of “PO,” use “Follow up PO status with Procurement.” Clear action-based reminder titles make the Today and Upcoming lists easier to scan.

Meetings, Calls and Appointments

Create a meeting reminder before a client call, internal review, online meeting, site coordination session or appointment. Add the contact name or department in Assigned To / Contact and place meeting details in the notes field when needed.

Invoices, Payments and Purchase Orders

Use payment reminders and invoice reminders for approval checks, collection follow-ups and document submissions. The Reference field can hold an invoice, PO, quotation or internal tracking number so the reminder is easier to identify later.

Projects, Reports and Deadlines

Set project reminders for report submissions, document reviews, approvals, site activities, deliverables and closeout actions. High-priority items can be pinned so they remain easy to find while other reminders are added.

Client and Team Follow-Ups

Create follow-up reminders after sending an email, requesting information or assigning an action. Use notes to record what you are waiting for and the contact field to identify the person, client, supplier or department involved.

Reminder Management Features

The My Reminders panel is designed for active task management rather than simply storing alerts. Search reminder text, switch between Today, Tomorrow, Upcoming, Missed, Pinned and Completed views, edit existing reminders, mark work as done, postpone an item, move it to tomorrow or delete reminders you no longer need. This makes the page useful as both a lightweight online reminder and a compact browser to-do list.

Privacy, Local Storage and Browser Notifications

Reminder entries are stored in your browser’s local storage on the device and browser where you create them. The reminder form does not require you to upload a document or file. Clearing browser/site data can remove locally stored reminders, so important business records should still be kept in the appropriate company system of record.

Timed popup and sound alerts depend on the page’s reminder engine running in the browser. Browser notification permission is separate from the reminder data itself. Reliable delivery after the Reportix page or browser is fully closed requires the separate background notification service; until that service is connected, keep the page open when you depend on a timed alert. For broader site information, see the Reportix Privacy Policy.
